The New Club of Paris runs Round Table (RT) projects, usually carried out at the invitation of governments or national cabinets. The purpose of these RTs is to provide an analysing dialogue and a development process for agenda-setting in a country, a region or a city. This in order to prepare the transformation towards a knowledge community. In this way, RTs initiates agenda-developing projects for clarifying and amplifying the global movement towards a knowledge society. This work has a powerful impact on knowledge navigation leading to the refinement of national or regional knowledge policies.
